and living expenses,
Proof of binding ties to their home country,

or family and documentation of the past five previous trips to the United States, if applicable
Can a B-1/B-2 Visa holder apply for a Green Card?
Although a B-1/B-2 visa does not offer permanent residency, it does allow the holder to apply for a green card.
A B1/B2 visa can be extended for a maximum of 180 days. This visa allows you to visit the United States many times.
In order to apply for the B-2 Visitor Visa you need to follow these steps:
first you must complete the DS-160 Form which is an Online Nonimmigrant Visa application.
In there you have to provide accurate information about yourself and upload a photo in the required format.
Make sure to print out the confirmation page as well as the visa fee after paying for it.
